FEEL Again

Well, that was quite a night wasn’t it! All hands on deck, full steam ahead, let’s set sail for obscurity, safe in the knowledge that Hope and Social are at least forty times more strong and stable than the chuffnuts left in charge.

In moments of clarity, when you come to the harrowing realisation that the people negotiating our position in the world are either so incredibly incompetent that they have to ask their butler to tie their shoes of a mornin’, or just plain old wilfully destructive, I just have to announce a brilliant tour. Because when it comes down to it, what gets us through all this, is the hope of getting together in a room with good people, having a drink, and singing a bunch of songs. Numbed by the futility of it all? We hope we can make you “FEEL Again”.

BEFORE all that, what’ve we got?

Saturday 17th June: Grassington Festival : Come learn to play brass instruments with us as we pilot our new brass-teaching project… “A Street Band Named Desire”. Join us in the morning or afternoon, and come play a street gig with us in Grassington Village Square. BOOK HERE

Saturday 8th July: Moonbeams Festival : It’s our agent, Leila’s festival this one, and as she’s booked Hope and Social one night, and Gary Stewart presents Graceland on the other, it’s already sold out this one. [grins]

Monday 10th July-Sunday 16th July: Durham Brass Festival We’re hoping to fully unleash our new street band at Durham Brass, so brace yourselves. Carnage for sure, but it will be epic. Promise.

Sunday 3rd September: Bunkfest : Fab, Free, Family Friendly Festival of Dance, Music and Beer. What’s not to love!?!
